It rained here in Austin during the week before Memorial Day so we didn't make any permanent plan, of course depending on the weather. So, Monday morning Anthony work up ready to barbecue. He got out the seasoned chicken and hot dogs w ith all the fixings. I set out to buy beer, dog treats and chips and queso. So for all that know Dana she can really hurt herself of queso and salsa. It turned out to be such a beautiful day. I played with the day and socialized with the neighbors while Anthony grilled and took a few laps in the pools. I was great! When the food was ready we sat down and played a few games of Uno, actually three games and Dana won all. We also tried to play backgammon but it was Anthony's first time and Dana really couldn't remember how to place so the attempt was fun. We then started eating and the food was excellent, beer was chilled. However Dana ate too much cheese and got a bit of a stomach ate so we headed inside to watch a few movies. It was a great day! Hope you enjoyed yours!

Shopping Spree
Anthony and I have been dedicating all our lil extra funds to the wedding and this week I totally lost my mind. My bridal kitchen and bath shower is in two weeks in Houston and I decided I needed something new to wear. We decided on a budget and I total found the best dress and accessories to match at the first place I looked. Now, I couldn't pass up this perfection so I purchased it and looked at three of the other high in stores but nothing compared. When I got home I was so excited to try it on for Anthony and he loved it! . I can not wait to wear it!

99 Days and Counting
Wow we woke up this morning and looked a the calendar just happy for TGIF but when we looked closer OH MY GOODNESS, its 99 days til our wedding . . .we're starting to get excited!!! The planning has been so much fun that we haven't had to stress much just the cost is real. We know we have a budget but wow, it's a lot of funds for a one day party. No doubt it is all worth it! And though we're on track and even ahead of schedule we still have a lot to do. As we both got ready to start our work day we talked about people having a platinum wedding or less than a six month time frame to plan and those people are awesome because we need every day that we can get to plan this amazing event. We don't want to skip on any of the detail because when it's all said and done we want to look back and reflect on the time spent planning, every minute of our beautiful ceremony and the kick ass reception and it will all be great memories. So, till next time we'll still be working on our day in history and hope you can attend.

Beam me up, Scotty
We had a movie date that turned into an adventure. We planned on seeing the 7:20pm showing of Star Trek however got there a bit too late and ended up seeing the 8:15pm happy we did because it was a really good movie. We both agree that we aren't Trekees or Trekeers but that was an adventurous movie. After we had plans to head central to the warehouse district to had a few drinks and dance. We found a great parking spot and heading to the first pub. Stayed their for a few drinks mingled a bit then headed to the next place which was Six and danced and a few more drinks then ended the night at one of our favorite spots Speak Easy roof top. We stayed there until a quarter to 2am and felt a a bit hungry. Both wanting Taco Cabana but the first one was closed (thought they all were 24/7) anyway there is one closer to home so went there where and they had a bad attitude and didn't give us the correct food so we asked for our money back and when home and had breakfast. It was prefect don't know why we didn't think of eating at home in the first place. Anywhoo, our date night was a blast!

Surfboards 101
So our great friends Zak and Dani, love ya, invited us over to grill, drink and ride on the boat. Of course not in that order. Anthony had later that day so we arrived around 1pm. The guys went to the gas station to get gas for the boat while the ladies got the food ready for our return. When the guys returned we headed down to the boat and helped. The we cruised a bit hanging out with them is always so much fun. Zak drove for awhile the Dani, as the guys wanted to start boarding. Zak's up first and ran several times it was pretty cool to see him jump the wave created by the boat, he wiped out a few time but landed several. Then it was Anthony's turn he's a great swimmer but never surfed before. He attempted several time and got up twice, but Dana spoiled his attempts as she needed to tinkle. So they headed back. The guys started grilling the food and the ladies made the salad and got the beer. We sat out on the deck and ate. After, we had to head back home as Anthony needed to get ready for work. It was a great weekend.
