Pre-Moon in Vegas
We have been a part of PPL for a year and previoulsy purchased seminar tickets to the annual event in Las Vegas and didn't want to lose the money and also the seminar would help us in our own career with selling, correspondence, receiving feedback and closing. The week of our pre-moon my parent came to stay the week to watch the dogs for us. However, we left for the airport before they arrived. We were so excited when we arrived in Las Vegas, as Anthony had never been and I'd never been with Anthony, too cute huh! We flew from Austin, to Dallas to Las Vegas. We didn't have much to eat before we left and we were hungry, so got pizza in Dallas. It was very greasly but good. We arrive in Las Vegas and we get in line (just like NYC) to get a taxi. I warned Anthony that I always attack the worst cabs. As we waited the people right in front of us get a cab driving a Lincolin CTS, of course the next one was a broke down Ford, I think. The driver looked like the dad off "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and he wouldn't stop talking. He told us that he had a nice cab but it was in the shop, this was just a loaner. Anthony was napping as he just got off work that morning. We get to our hotel and it's beautiful! The Marriott Chateau stay was our wedding gift from our cousin Medric. This is a timeshare property and it was sweet. Our suite was a one bed room, with granite countertops, a stove, microwave, frig, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. It had a dining table and chair, a living room, the two flat screen tvs, a cd and blueray player. a walk in closet, two vanities, a garden tub and a carwash shower (made for two). After we get settled in and view the property we walked to Walgreen to go shopping was purchased food and toiletries. We didn't get much but it came to $120. This would last all week! Anthony walked to the store to get alcohol. I started to feel sick from the pizza and laid down on the couch. By the time Anthony returned I was sleep. He sat beside me and made a drink. Next thing I woke up and Anthony left me on the couch and was in the bed sleeping with the TV on. I told him I felt better and we could go out but he wanted to sleep. He was still tried from this morning. The next day we got up and made breakfast after Anthony took some phone calls and work a bit. After we headed out on the strip. A few times durning the trip I called my parents and Val, Anthony talked to clients and his dad but other than that it was just the two of us. We attended a few timeshare presentations, one day at PPL seminar, ate at Carnival World Buffet at the Rio, The Buffet at the Wynn, Mix at Mandalay Bay and twice at the Grande Lux Cafe at the Venetian. We saw two Cirque de Soleil shows Zumanity (at NYNY), Mystere (TI) and had fun (mostly Anthony) at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. We also several free shows like The Sirens at Treasure Island (which was Pussycat dolls as pirates), Volcano at the Mirage, Lion Habitate at MGM, Conservatory & Fountains at Bellagio. There were several free shows but we didn't get to see them all...next time! We took long walks up and down the strip, and back and forth to the garage (inside joke). We also had interesting cab rides, on the way to Wynn, Anthony couldn't wait so we took a taxi 3 blocks down and the driver didn't have change, leaving the MGM we decided to get a cab back to the hotel and we only had a credit card so we had to jump out that cab and get another one, on the way to the show we got this driver that was freaky us out...he seemed like he was skitzofrenic and the driver from the show took us a quick back way but we thought we was going to kill us. As we ended our trip we set the alarm, asked for a wake up call and cab. Got up, ready and outside was our cab. He needed Anthony to help him with the truck because this was a hoopty too and then he tried to start the car and it was dead. Too much...finally he got it started and we made it safely to the airport. Vegas as a sewer smell but over all we had a great trip. We are so happy to be together on our first trip as a married couple. We look forward to our honeymoon, whenever it is, and can't wait for our next trip!

Rehearsal Dinner & Party
Wow, tomorrow is our wedding day and family and friends have already arrived to practice at the reshearsal and party tonight as it's our last day of being single. My parents, Uncle Ike and Aunt Mona arrived closer to the beginning of the week. Leonardo the best man arrived on Thursday and he and Anthony hung out that night. Friday morning Anthony picked up his family and Valerie and Carmella drove in. At this time our house was feels with dogs, family and friends. It was so great! The only ones missing was my sister and her family as they were driving up and would meet us at the venue. As we started to pack the cars with wedding accessories it seemed like I was very much on top of everything but this day seemed like I have a few several things outstanding! Carmella helped with the program layout and Anthony, my dad, Leo and Will printed them and made the fans after they picked up their tuxedos. After we were all going to meet up at the venue. Our rehearsal began at 4pm. We were all there my parents, his mother, my bridemaids, his groomsmen, our wedding coordinator and Father Scott Johnson. We started backwards as we all meet at the gazebo. So they told us what was going to happen, when and where to stand and how to exit and line up. It when every smoothly. I was very happy with everything. Now it was time to eat. Not every familiar with the area restaurants Val and I choose the closes one with was a few blocks down from the venue a Mexican place call, Iguana Grill. The place was in a beautiful location, food was okay but the service was slow. Which didn't really bother most people as this was our first time all together and we could bond however we all were a bit hungry and ready to eat. After our meal. Our sweet soon to be brother-in-law as the entertainment to sing a song to us. It was so great. After we took pictures, checked in our hotel rooms and decided to head out downtown to party tonight. I decided to room Friday night with Valerie and Carmella. As we were getting ready, we called my sister and she decided not to join us but my friends Demi, Brandice and Leanittia were on there way to Austin and wanted to meet us. The guys where heading downtown too. It was all good as long as Anthony and I didn't see each other after midnight. All the guys were staying at our house. As the we took the 6th street off I35 we get a call from the ladies and they are right behind us, it was too exact! So they follow us to parking we all hug and take pictures and head to the first club SIX. We stayed there and danced a bit, after we walked to Red Fest where was met up with Anthony and the fellas. We stayed with them for about an hour then when our separate ways to SpeakEasy where we met the guys again but they didn't stay very long. After we walked back to the car and drove back to Lakeway. It was a great day and we both felt so special they everyone arrived on time and had a great time. Don't you just love hanging with family and friends!
