Pre-Moon in Vegas

We have been a part of PPL for a year and previoulsy purchased seminar tickets to the annual event in Las Vegas and didn't want to lose the money and also the seminar would help us in our own career with selling, correspondence, receiving feedback and closing.  The week of our pre-moon my parent came to stay the week to watch the dogs for us.  However, we left for the airport before they arrived.  We were so excited when we arrived in Las Vegas, as Anthony had never been and I'd never been with Anthony, too cute huh!  We flew from Austin, to Dallas to Las Vegas.  We didn't have much to eat before we left and we were hungry, so got pizza in Dallas.  It was very greasly but good.  We arrive in Las Vegas and we get in line (just like NYC) to get a taxi.  I warned Anthony that I always attack the worst cabs.  As we waited the people right in front of us get a cab driving a Lincolin CTS, of course the next one was a broke down Ford, I think.  The driver looked like the dad off "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and he wouldn't stop talking.  He told us that he had a nice cab but it was in the shop, this was just a loaner.  Anthony was napping as he just got off work that morning.  We get to our hotel and it's beautiful!  The Marriott Chateau stay was our wedding gift from our cousin Medric.  This is a timeshare property and it was sweet.  Our suite was a one bed room, with granite countertops, a stove, microwave, frig, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.  It had a dining table and chair, a living room, the two flat screen tvs, a cd and blueray player.  a walk in closet, two vanities, a garden tub and a carwash shower (made for two).  After we get settled in and view the property we walked to Walgreen to go shopping was purchased food and toiletries.  We didn't get much but it came to $120.  This would last all week!  Anthony walked to the store to get alcohol.  I started to feel sick from the pizza and laid down on the couch.  By the time Anthony returned I was sleep.  He sat beside me and made a drink.  Next thing I woke up and Anthony left me on the couch and was in the bed sleeping with the TV on.  I told him I felt better and we could go out but he wanted to sleep.  He was still tried from this morning.  The next day we got up and made breakfast after Anthony took some phone calls and work a bit.  After we headed out on the strip.  A few times durning the trip I called my parents and Val, Anthony talked to clients and his dad but other than that it was just the two of us.  We attended a few timeshare presentations, one day at PPL seminar, ate at Carnival World Buffet at the Rio, The Buffet at the Wynn, Mix at Mandalay Bay and twice at the Grande Lux Cafe at the Venetian.  We saw two Cirque de Soleil shows Zumanity (at NYNY), Mystere (TI) and had fun (mostly Anthony) at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.  We also several free shows like The Sirens at Treasure Island (which was Pussycat dolls as pirates), Volcano at the Mirage, Lion Habitate at MGM, Conservatory & Fountains at Bellagio.  There were several free shows but we didn't get to see them all...next time!  We took long walks up and down the strip, and back and forth to the garage (inside joke).  We also had interesting cab rides, on the way to Wynn, Anthony couldn't wait so we took a taxi 3 blocks down and the driver didn't have change, leaving the MGM we decided to get a cab back to the hotel and we only had a credit card so we had to jump out that cab and get another one, on the way to the show we got this driver that was freaky us out...he seemed like he was skitzofrenic and the driver from the show took us a quick back way but we thought we was going to kill us.  As we ended our trip we set the alarm, asked for a wake up call and cab.  Got up, ready and outside was our cab.  He needed Anthony to help him with the truck because this was a hoopty too and then he tried to start the car and it was dead.  Too much...finally he got it started and we made it safely to the airport.  Vegas as a sewer smell but over all we had a great trip.  We are so happy to be together on our first trip as a married couple. We look forward to our honeymoon, whenever it is, and can't wait for our next trip!
